Cancellation Policy

You may cancel SharpenResume online without calling or explaining why. Cancellation prevents future renewal and is separate from a refund.
1. How to cancel
Cancel through an authenticated Dashboard or the secure alternative flow, which sends a single-use, time-limited verification link to the account email. Knowing or entering an email alone does not cancel a subscription.
2. Effective date
Verified cancellation applies cancel_at_period_end, stops the next renewal, and preserves paid access through the current period. The confirmation shows the effective date and last access date.
3. Confirmation
Cancellation completes only after server and payment-provider confirmation. SharpenResume provides an on-screen confirmation and durable email with the subscription reference and effective date.
4. No unnecessary obstacles
You do not need to call, give a reason, accept a retention offer, or complete unrelated steps. If the online flow fails, submit the request through Contact.
5. Refunds and account deletion
Cancellation does not refund a completed charge; you may request both actions together. Account deletion is separate but must stop future renewal before deletion proceeds.
