Billing, Subscription & Refund Policy

This Policy explains SharpenResume’s paid access, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds for United States customers.
1. Initial paid access
You authorize $1.95 USD today for an initial paid 7-day period of unlimited access. You may use one or multiple resumes during those 7 days.
2. Automatic renewal
Unless canceled before the initial period ends, the subscription renews automatically at $49.95 USD per month using the authorized payment method until canceled.
3. Consent and acknowledgment
Before payment, Checkout displays the initial price, 7-day duration, exact first-renewal date calculated for the order, monthly price and frequency, automatic renewal, cancellation method, and legal documents. Selecting the payment button provides affirmative consent to the displayed initial and recurring charges. We provide a receipt and durable acknowledgment.
4. Stripe and payment methods
Stripe processes payment credentials and may apply its security, fraud, and regulatory procedures. Charges and refunds use the payment method associated with the transaction.
5. Refunds
You may request a full refund of the $1.95 USD initial charge, a $49.95 USD monthly charge, or both when the transactions are identified. No reason is required. We verify only reasonable account or transaction control and obvious fraud indicators. Once verified, SharpenResume initiates the full refund within 2 business days.
6. Refund destination and timing
Refunds return to the original payment method when supported. Appearance depends on Stripe, the payment method, and the financial institution and commonly takes about 5–10 business days for card refunds. This is not a guaranteed banking date. If a refund fails, we contact you for secure resolution.
7. Cancellation is different
Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not automatically refund an existing charge. A refund returns a completed charge but does not automatically cancel renewal. You may request both actions together.
8. Payment problems and changes
Access may be limited after failed payment. Contact us about duplicate or unauthorized transactions. Applicable taxes may be added. Material price or renewal changes will receive the notice or consent required by law. Nonwaivable rights remain unaffected.
