SharpenResume is an international digital service that analyzes and optimizes resumes through automated systems and artificial intelligence and delivers editable PDF and Word documents adapted to the country or market selected by the User. This Notice governs general access to the site, without limiting the Terms and Conditions that apply to purchases and Membership.

4. Independent nature of the service

SharpenResume is a private, independent business. It is not an employment agency, recruiting firm, employer, ATS provider, government body, educational institution, or legal adviser. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by employers, employment platforms, or ATS providers unless expressly stated.

Examples, animations, before-and-after comparisons, and seals are illustrative and do not necessarily represent a User’s final result. Scores and findings come from an automated analysis of the document provided and are indicative estimates. SharpenResume does not guarantee interviews, employment, hiring, salaries, or a particular ATS score.

5. Use of the site

The User must use the site lawfully, diligently, and in accordance with the Terms. You may not interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, gain unauthorized access, use another person’s identity or payment method, upload information without sufficient rights, or use the service for fraudulent, discriminatory, or deceptive purposes.

6. Intellectual property

The site’s text, designs, software, interfaces, trademarks, logos, graphics, and other content belong to NOVALAYER or its licensors. Access does not transfer intellectual-property rights. The exclusions and limitations described in the Terms apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable United States federal and state law.
