Terms of Service

These Terms govern SharpenResume, a resume analysis and optimization service operated by Zemobile LLC for users in the United States. By creating an account, using the service, or purchasing access, you agree to them.
1. Definitions
“SharpenResume,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the service and Zemobile LLC. “You” means the user. “User Content” includes resumes, extracted text, instructions, and information you submit. “Output” includes scores, analysis, recommendations, optimized documents, and generated material.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. SharpenResume is intended for users in the United States.
3. Service and accounts
SharpenResume uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to analyze and help optimize resumes. Features may include scoring, ATS-oriented analysis, recommendations, document history, and a Dashboard. You are responsible for your account and must notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
4. Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google may provide a stable identifier, verified email, name, profile image, and locale within the permissions shown during sign-in. You remain responsible for controlling your Google account and SharpenResume session.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of User Content and represent that you have authority to submit it. You grant Zemobile LLC a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, process, transform, and transmit it only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support SharpenResume and comply with law.
6. Automated Outputs and truthful use
Outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review and approve each Output before using it. Do not use SharpenResume to invent or misrepresent employment, education, qualifications, skills, responsibilities, credentials, achievements, or metrics.
7. Acceptable use
The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms. You may not use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, to impersonate someone, process an unauthorized third-party resume, distribute malware, interfere with the service, bypass controls, or abuse another account.
8. Paid access and renewal
You authorize $1.95 USD today for an initial paid 7-day period of unlimited access. You may use one or multiple resumes during that period. Unless canceled before it ends, the subscription renews automatically at $49.95 USD per month using the authorized payment method until canceled.
9. Consent and billing
Before payment, SharpenResume presents the material offer terms. By selecting the payment button, you affirmatively authorize the disclosed initial and recurring charges. Stripe processes payment credentials. The Billing, Subscription & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.
10. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel online without calling or providing a reason. Verified cancellation uses cancel_at_period_end, prevents the next renewal, and preserves access through the effective date. Cancellation does not refund an existing charge. Refunds may be requested separately under the Billing, Subscription & Refund Policy.
11. Deleting a resume
A deleted resume stops appearing immediately. Deletion covers the original, extracted text, optimized version, derivatives, results, history, and pending jobs. It leaves active systems within 7 days and technical backups within 30 days, except for minimal records required for billing, fraud, security, consent, or law.
12. Deleting an account
Deleting an account stops future renewal, revokes access, sessions, and connected OAuth access, blocks new charges, and starts deletion or anonymization of resumes, results, profile data, and other deletable information. Active-system deletion occurs within 7 days and backup deletion within 30 days. Financial, consent, cancellation, refund, security, antifraud, and legally required records may remain. Refunds are separate.
13. Intellectual property and third parties
SharpenResume, its software, interface, branding, and service materials belong to Zemobile LLC or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, nontransferable personal-use right. Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend, Google, and other providers may apply their own terms to their services.
14. Availability, suspension, and termination
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, address security or payment problems, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. Material subscription changes will be communicated as required by law.
15. Disclaimers
SharpenResume is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, hiring, recruiting outcomes, a particular ATS score, or compatibility with every applicant tracking system.
16. Liability and indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zemobile LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages or lost opportunities, profits, data, or goodwill. You agree to indemnify Zemobile LLC against third-party claims caused by your unlawful use, violation of these Terms, or unauthorized User Content, except to the extent caused by Zemobile LLC’s unlawful conduct. Nonwaivable rights remain unaffected.
17. General terms
Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may assign these Terms in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or asset sale; you may not assign them without consent. If one provision is unenforceable, the others remain effective. These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement regarding SharpenResume.
18. Changes, law, and disputes
Material changes will be communicated as required by law and identified by the effective date and legal version. Applicable U.S. federal and Delaware law govern without displacing mandatory consumer protections where you live. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
