Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy protects users, employers, providers, and SharpenResume from unlawful, deceptive, or abusive use.
1. Authorized content
Use SharpenResume lawfully and submit only resumes and information you own or are authorized to process. Do not submit another person’s confidential or personal information without authorization.
2. Truthful information
Do not invent or falsify employers, titles, dates, education, licenses, credentials, skills, responsibilities, achievements, metrics, or other qualifications, or deliberately deceive employers or recruiters.
3. Identity and accounts
Do not impersonate anyone, use credentials without permission, interfere with verification, or access another user’s account, subscription, resume, or results.
4. Technical and payment abuse
Do not distribute malware, exploit vulnerabilities, overload the service, bypass controls, scrape, use disruptive automation, use stolen payment methods, manipulate transactions, or submit fraudulent refund or cancellation requests.
5. Enforcement
We may proportionately restrict access, preserve relevant evidence, and report unlawful conduct when reasonably necessary. Contact us if you believe enforcement was mistaken.
