Resume Processing & AI Notice
Effective August 26, 2026 · 2026-08-26
This Notice explains how SharpenResume uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to analyze and help optimize resumes.
1. Content and activities
Processing may include the PDF or DOCX, extracted text, work experience, education, skills, keywords, formatting, instructions, and context. SharpenResume may extract sections, assess clarity, relevance and ATS-oriented readability, generate a simulated or system-provided score, suggest revisions, and create optimized documents and results.
2. Cloudflare Workers AI
Selected content and instructions may be processed through Cloudflare Workers AI. Cloudflare states that Customer Content is not used to train AI models or improve Cloudflare or third-party services without explicit consent. Storage occurs when SharpenResume deliberately uses services such as R2 or D1 for disclosed product functions.
3. Training
SharpenResume does not intentionally use resumes to train its own models. A new provider, model, or use requires review and updated disclosure before activation.
4. Scores and ATS analysis
Scores and ATS-oriented observations are informational estimates, not official scores from every applicant tracking system. Employers and systems use different criteria.
5. Review and outcomes
Automated Outputs can omit context or introduce errors. Review every Output and confirm all facts. SharpenResume does not guarantee employment, interviews, hiring, a particular ATS score, or universal ATS compatibility. History and deletion follow the Privacy Policy.
